BSOD 124 during Assassin's creed 4

    The graphics card is not very hot, in the 55-65 range while putting any game to ultra in 3440x1440. The CPU however gets really hot when it starts to work near 100% (it goes up to 88C without overclocking). I am getting a CM hyper 212 evo tomorrow.

    However, at the most recent BSOD (the 0x50), the machine was cold and freshly booted.

    Okay well we will se hoe things go after tomorrow when you get your new cooler.

    and try this regarding the 0x50:

    Run Chkdsk /f /r to detect and repair disk errors. You must restart the system before the disk scan begins on a system partition. If the hard disk is SCSI, check for problems between the SCSI controller and the disk.
