BSOD Crossfire gaming

I get code 3B BSOD, system service exception, atikmdag.sys
I've reinstalled windows 7 thrice, swapped cards, tried 3 different crossfire bridges.
Every time I start up a game with crossfire on, BSOD. runs fine without crossfire (on both cards). just that whenever CFX is enabled and a 3D load is on, crashes.
nothing is overclocked.

I'm at wits end here and I'm really frustrated. part of me want to blame AMD drivers. could it be a failing PSU?

I also posted here:
BSoDs caused by atikmpag.sys and several other drivers

You are correct buddy, make sure your drivers are updated.

When updated remove catalist control center and see if that helps.

okay I just uninstalled drivers via control panel, did a search for atikmdag on the C drive and deleted every instance of any file with that name. then I reinstall drivers. still BSOD with crossfire gaming.
honestly at this point, I'm ready to just sell my cards and wait for Maxwell. I'm seriously done with AMD software BS.

Do you monitor your temps while gaming?

Okay so we knows its graphics related then.

Try running the game with integrated graphics to see if the BSOD is still present.

Monitor your temps while browsing ECT.

Report back in a hour after monitoring.
