    ** Memtest86+ V5.01 (27/09/2013)**

Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.gz)
Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.zip)

Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable Binary (.gz)
Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable Binary (.zip)

Download - Auto-installer for USB Key (Win 9x/2k/xp/7) *NEW!*
Download - Pre-Compiled package for Floppy (DOS - Win)

I'm guessing it's the Auto installer for USB? don't want to get the wrong thing.

didn't run on boot up and only advice on the page is to " select USB to boot first" or something along those lines. Went into the BIOS advanced settings and hadn't a clue what to do and was afraid of changing the wrong setting , what do?;(

Nevermind, I found this information on your BIOS from your Acer model. Let me know if you need any more information.

It's been a while but... the pc is still alive and I ran memtest today for 2 passes and got 0 errors. Still clueless as to what is causing these regular crashes.

As the tutorial explained, you need to run 8 consecutive passes of MemTest86+.........running 2 now, then 2 later, then 2 the next day is insufficient to cycle through all the tests.

I read on a forum that the screen usually fills with errors on the first pass - I'll run it overnight tonight and see how many passes it's done :)
