    BSOD while playing games

    Hello,

    I'm new here and i had met BSOD while gaming lately and the error name is -
    -PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA
    -IRQL_NOT_EQUAL_OR_LESS

    I had used memtest86 to tested my 4 rams in 1 time and it does not show any error yet also tested my hhd with Macrorit Disk Scanner and the result shows that my hhds are all fine. I had also formatted all my hdds too

    I'm not so good in computer so please help me

    The problem can be in BIOS version. You have:
    BaseBoardProduct = P8Z77-V LX2
    BiosVersion = 0305
    BiosReleaseDate = 08/10/2012
    You can install version 2501 (2014.09.19) ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P8Z77-V LX2

    kottl,

    May I know what makes you determined that my BIOS version is causing the BSOD? Is it base on the dump file description? I heard from my friend said that touching the BIOS will be risky and dangerous

    WeissAurona,

    This is just one of the probable cause. And very often with this stop code you will be get recommendations to update BIOS version.

    Worth a try. I was getting BSOD issues while playing BF4 and it just recently started happening. I didnt notice temperature changes or any errors with my memory or graphics card. I took my heat sink off and cleaned the old thermal paste off and applied new paste. My computer has been running alot smoother since then. No BSOD since then either.

    Run a minimum of 8 passes, preferably overnight, or until errors occur using MemTest86+.

    Reference this tutorial to help you use MemTest86+:

    Golden,

    I had ran my rams with Memtest86 and the result as picture below. Yet i heard my friend said try not to fully trust the softwares that test our hardware cause sometime the software is not really can test out the error.

    So right now I am playing game with 1 ram to see whether will occur BSOD.
