Computer randomly shut downs, BSOD BCCode: 9F

Hi. In the past couple of days my computer has randomly started shutting down by itself. I'll leave to go somewhere, come home and the computer is shut off. When I cut it back on it says windows shut down incorrectly and eventually, after logging on, it says that windows experienced an error.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it but lately I have noticed my computer lags a great deal at startup. After looking at the task manager on multiple occasions I have found there are always multiple svchost.exe processes running. Another thing that I do not understand is there is always at least 3 or 4 iexplore.exe processes running, even though I never use Internet Explorer. I can close most of them except for the last one, with which I always receive an "access is denied" box. A couple of minutes later I can look at the Task Manager and they are back again. Like I said, I have no clue if that is related but hopefully it helps. I run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and SUPERAntiSpyware regularly, along with having the Microsoft Security Essentials, but can seem to find a problem. Thanks for any help that can be provided.

Ok, just updated the adapter. Thank you for the help and hopefully this fixes things. So what exactly was happening...was this adapter causing the slowness and the random shutdowns?

Also, I just updated my Malwarebytes Anit-Malware and it gave me a free trial of real-time protection. I keep on getting a pop-up that a malicious website is being blocked - xmlclick-a.com using the process iexplore.exe. I realize this is more virus/malware stuff so do I need to post this question in another subforum?

Are you trying to navigate to xmclick? If so, the AV is doing its job : preventing you from visiting that site. You don't need to do anything.

Definitely not, I just wanted to know if there was a way to get it off my computer permanently because this trial will not last forever and Microsoft Security Essentials seems to not be picking it up. This must be why I keep on seeing multiple iexplore.exe processes in my task manager, even though I don't even use my IE.

Run scan using the ESET on-line virus scanner, and remove any threats it finds. Keep a list of what it finds.

Thanks again for the help. I started that scanner last night before I went to bed and it's still running this morning. As of right now its already found 11 threats and its only at 44%.

It does take a long time but leave it to finish. Make a note of what was cleaned up.

Just to update, its been 24 hours and it's still running! Hopefully when I wake up in the morning it will be finished. I'll be sure and post what it finds.

Ok, so it finally stopped. I believe it said one threat will need to be cleaned after I restart so I'm going to go ahead and do that.

***Restarted and got a message about RegSvr32 after logging on. I've attached a pic of the message-I have no clue what it means.
