I will certenly get back to you and appreciate the help youre offering me

What puzzles me is even by a brand new computer (five weeks old) there is the same problem.
That whas this computer and its still going on and on.
As a test i used my sons computer (older one with Windows Vista) mine was away at the shop, and even that one gave me the same problems.

What else is different in that room? Heat maybe? Was your Son's computer running stable in his room?

It must be the power I would think. I don't know what else could cause it other than heat.

Have you tried running an extension cord from another room such as your son's room and see if there's any difference and your computer stays stable. If it does then you have a power problem in your study
