    Bsod - system_service_exception -

    Good Afternoon,

I have been getting System_Service_Exception BSOD on and off for over a year now, mostly when streaming video's on the internet (multiple youtube tabs open). However, now it seems to be happening when playing games, doing nothing, even happened when compiling the minidump with DM Log Collector and happening basically all the time.

I was only recently able to get my computer to start recording the minidump files again (thanks to your forums) so I hope there is enough information there.

    regards,

    James

I have continued to have the problem and have a few more minidump files I figured I would add them in.

Seems to still be just SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION 0X0000003B most of the time. However, my computer outside of safe mode is pretty much un-usable.

    thanks in advance.

There is actually very little information in the dumps. The only information I was able to get was

    Code:
     bdfwfpf
    start end module name

    Which is your graphics driver

Please reinstall the latest WHQL graphics driver, this will tell you how to try it
I am going to give you some links that will help you get a good clean install and not have any drivers you don't need that will conflict with other drivers. Download a WHQL driver from https://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-c...ndows-7-a.html . Once you have them downloaded, uninstall you current driver from control panel. next clean up any left over drivers from following this tutorial Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling and select only ATI Display Drivers. After you have done that and rebooted, install the new driver, only select custom install and install only what you have to. Very few people need most of what they include. You do not need the audio/HDMI drivers as you already have that in your Motherboard drivers. Unless there is some reason you need them, the only thing you really need is the Display Driver.

Next open a elevated command prompt ( click start, type cmd in the search box, right click on the cmd entry and select run as administrator) in the black box that opens, copy/paste sfc /scannow. If you decide to type it, notice the space between the sfc and the /. It is a system file checker which will scan your system files and attempt to correct any missing or corrupt files. What we want are the results to say windows found no integrity violations. If it says files were found but could not be repaired, close the box, reboot and run it again, after opening the administrative command prompt. You may have to reboot and run it three times for it to repair all system files. If it can't repair them after 3 reboots, let us know.

Thanks for your help! I followed all your steps and all seemed good. However, I just got another BSOD. IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE - 0X0000004A

and I then had another SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION after I first posted this comment....

I have attached another file with the mini dump.

    Thanks again.

    This time it says

    Code:

That is your Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network Connection driver and should be updated, either from your Motherboard web site or from the Intel Driver update

Also please make sure your firmware is up to date on your SSD

Also run Seatools for DOS (http://www.seagate.com/support/inter...ls-dos-master/) on your Mechanical hard drive.

I am trying to avoid what probably should be done first and run Memtest86+. But with 32 GB of ram, it will take 2-3 days to run the test. So, lets see what we can do first. I will give you instructions first.
