it was quite stupid, you have to type cmd in the search bar, dont push on enter, go to it in the screen and right click it and run as administrator
This is the second run, it restarted the first time and windows updated it

Ok, see if that solves your problems. If not try to do a system restore to before the update you think caused the problem.
System Restore just read the instructions carefully.
the solution of running as administrator is ashaming, but I will tell it anyway, type cmd in the search bar, dont enter but go to it and right click it, you see a lot of options, also run as administrator
This was the second run, the first forced a restart and windows did update some files
Are the instructions I gave not clear enough? Just asking so I can maybe make them better in the future.
the instructions were perfect. Only I had some trouble with administrator in a dos box. Perhaps my own mistake or misunderstood the instructions. Till now no bsods, but fingers crossed
problem is not over yet, strange thing, after windows update the problem did reoccur and as side effect the mouse and keyboard freezes
I had no problems, sometimes my mouses freezed but a friend said he could solve this. He installed winthrusther, I even admit it worked fine, but the next day my network was blocked by winthruster. I had to reinstall, even a backup or system restore didnt work. I did reinstall my hp, formatted the drive and saved my docs. It works fine now, but something strange happened today. I had forgotten to install my sound and in particular the boxes. I thought why not an update of my realtek sound card
strangely enough bsod did reoccur, so i rolled back the driver and no problems, even no more freezing. I think the problem is the bios
We'll try to help you do what you want to do. Glad it's working but be careful of what other people tell you to install. I have never heard of winthruster, so don't know what it is. If you would like more help, just tell us what you would like. I you think things are solved, please mark the thread solved whenever you think it is. You may consider checking to see if there is an updated BIOS for your HP on the HP web site for your computer.
