I don't know that way, Arc and it would depend on her bios options. I will look at mine and see in a minute. I've never done the bios way though, never needed to.

I have no options in bios for graphics. There is no way in my bios to disable it. Perhaps Madhumitha's bios does. I would think it could be done in device manager although I would think it would be better in Nvidia Control Panel, if it can be done there. Under the Global settings, that should take care of all programs I thought, but apparently not.
There is no option for display in my laptop's BIOS, too. Though I am not very savvy with BIOS at all.
I can disable nvidia graphics in device manager only after setting the integrated graphics as preferred; otherwise it loads the generic display only.
So, I guess that setting integrated graphics as preferred and then disabling nvidia in device manager might do the job.
again it appeared ... no bluescreen just shut down and restarted y its not yet resolved yet... EVERYTHING IS IN INTEGRATED GRAPHIC ONLY
Exactly the same issue.
I am really wondering how and why it is happening despite of not using the dedicated card.
I would request Steve to have a check over me.
My suggestion to Madhu in this present situation will be to disable nvidia graphics card in the device manager.Code:******************************************************************************* * * * Bugcheck Analysis * * * ******************************************************************************* Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information. - Click on the start button.
- Type Device Manager in the search bar.
- Click on the resulting link. The Device Manager window will open.
- The third one should be "Display Adapter". Expand it by clicking on the "►" in front of it. Your nvidia card name will be shown.
- Right click on it. Choose "Disable" in the context menu.
- A dialog will appear with some scary words. Dont be afraid. Click on "Yes" .
- Restart the computer.
Now there is literally no chance for the nvidia display to step in. Let the computer run for a couple of hours. Let us know how it is running.
i disabled it...
it didnt show up so far... once /twice a day it occur so i will let you know soon arc n steve... wts is the other plan??
i think now only it disabled properly (via device manager ) i guess ...last time when i right click and see nvidia control panel is there now only integrated graphic things are there.
