Ahh cool.

So maybe I could do the clean installation again with the newest driver and it might be BSOD free as well?

(and if not, then revert to this current driver)

Aaaaand we're back

And I just had a BSOD. No driver changes.

Ran Starbound in full screen (don't even know for sure if that was the cause) and maybe 10-15 minutes after, I had the BSOD.

I was doing a lot of other stuff in between closing the application and the BSOD. But it seems like a bit too much of a coincidence given that my issue with BSOD's was clearly related to the closing of full screen applications before.

Just to be sure I'm going to do a driver cleaning and rollback as per the instructions earlier in this thread and then proceed to test again.

If I get more BSOD's, I'll attach logs here.

This has been a horrible crippling issue. I wish anyone had a clue what actually causes this.

I can't even alt-tab from full screen games.

I just ran a memtest86 scan.

My RAM passed all tests perfectly except the hammer test. On that one there were 560 errors.

So by a standard RAM test my RAM is ok but with this hammer test, there are a ton of failures. Is this relevant or is it normal?

Attached is the log. It would not allow me to upload an html file so I changed the extension to .rar. If you change it back to .html it will show you the log of the scan.

I can only apologise for my prolongued absence, life got in the way. Just to confirm, you did run Memtest86+? If so it looks like RAM is definitely causing issues. What's the configuration of your RAM sticks? 2x8GB or 4x4GB?

Welcome back. Boozad to the rescue

It's 4x4GB. I did it for the 3930k's quad channel stuff.

I ran the one on this page:
MemTest86 - Download now!

"Image for creating bootable USB Drive"

I used the utility it came with to put it on a thumb drive for booting

That's not the MemTest version we recommend on here, I've linked the one we use below. Please test your RAM with this version linked below following all the instructions and report back, this should give us a clearer indication of the issue. Can you also upload any new dumps you've had in the interim?

Download and run MemTest86+ to test your RAM. RAM - Test with MemTest86+

Note   Note
Attachment 352439

Run MemTest86+ for at least 8 passes. Ideally set it off before you go to bed and leave it overnight, we're looking for zero errors here. A single error will show something's going bad with your RAM.
