BSOD During Games and Alt+Tabbing from games in fullscreen (BCCODE 3b)

    Hello all,

I recently made a new PC build, everything went fine and all drivers are up to date and the latest. However when playing ANY game in fullscreen i sometimes get a BSOD and if i Alt+Tab our of one it will 90% of the time BSOD. Latest 3b is the BCCode that i get, i have tried sweeping and reinstalling graphics drivers however this did not work. This problem doesn't happen with anything else and does not crash if i play in windowed or border-less, however i use a crossfire setup so i need to use fullscreen to use both GPUs.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Welcome to 7F. It's not advisable to keep bumping your own post as it removes the thread from the Unanswered Threads section and people will presume you are being dealt with.

All of your dumps are blaming your ATI graphics driver.

Download the 13.9 driver from here then use AMD Uninstall Utility to remove all traces of your current driver, CCC etc. Reboot and install the 13.9 driver.

       Note
When installing choose 'Advanced' or 'Custom' (whichever option is available, just not Express) and uncheck everything except the video driver.

Thanks very much for the reply, i wont bumb here again if that is the case :)

i did everything exactly as you instructed however i am unsure if 13.9 installed correctly as it finished instantly when installing and i currently do not have any CCC.

Open Device Manager, expand display adapters, right click on your GPU, select Properties then click on the Driver tab. That will tell you what driver version you have installed, for the time being you don't want CCC installed for testing purposes.
