Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error BSOD after waking from sleep mode

My computer got a kernel_data_inpage_error BSOD after waking from sleep mode. It's gotten this particular error multiple times, as well as a few others (system_service_exception, interrupt_exception_not_handled, etc.).

I've tried reinstalling Windows and all my drivers and the problems still occur, so I'm not sure what I should do. Any help in diagnosing the problem is much appreciated.

Hi tobyps.

There is no KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR (0x7A) crash dump in the uploaded zip. All I am seeing are INTERRUPT_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (0x3D) which is a vary rare bugcheck itself.

I think we should pay attention to the 0x7A BSOD at first, because it is somehow related with disc hardware. It is tough to proceed without the crash dump, but there is high probability that the nature of the BSOD resists the system to record it.

Take a camera snap of the 0x7A BSOD screen. The on-screen information will be enough to set a way for us.

Okay, thanks for replying. Coincidentally I did take a photo of last night's BSOD to remember the error message. By the way, is there any significance to the fact that the BSODs had funny colors? I uploaded two pics, one of each of my dual monitors.

I dont know why it got those colors.

But, the second figure in the bracket beside stop 0x7A is 0xC000009D. It is the NTSTATUS here. Technically it is called STATUS_DEVICE_NOT_CONNECTED. It means,

Also post a screenshot of the SSD using CrystalDiskInfo - Software - Crystal Dew World

Marvell is always a poor controller. Open the computer and apply the SSD to a non Marvell port. At teh same time make it sure that the SATA and power are properly connected, and the SSD is properly fixed. If possible, apply a new SATA cable.

Let us know the situation after that. If nothing is changed, then we have to look at the power plan settings, as it appears that the disconnection occurs only during power transition.

Okay, I did all of that. I changed the SSD to a non-Marvell port, used a new SATA cable, and updated the SSD firmware. I will let you know if that fixed the problem.

IMHO you should put the computer to sleep for a couple of times to see how it reacts now. Let us know for any further BSOD. If teh dump not recorded, let us know if the BSOD is is stop 0x7A or stop 0xF4, or anything else.
