New PC is a nightmare of errors

I have had nothing but errors from the day this new pc came out of the box: i.e., display adapter errors, IE10, Firefox and IE11 crashing continuously, programs not installing correctly nor uninstalling correctly and, of course, numerous BSODs. The list is seemingly endless and I am no guru. Aside from being unfamiliar with Windows 7 (having -reluctantly- gotten this new computer to upgrade my aging one and my beloved XP), I have exhausted numerous attempts to resolve the issues and am throwing up the white flag.

So I figure I should start with the infamous BSODs. I am attaching the log requested in the Posting Instructions.

    Attachment 338059

My thanks to anyone who can help.

There is only one dump file in your logs and that is blaming your nVidia driver.

    Code:

Thanks for your reply. It certainly has been giving me grief but I had tried to update it once before (following those instructions) and the installation failed so I restored to a previous state.

I guess I can blame CCleaner for erasing the other dump files ... I'll have to change that. Meanwhile, I'll continue to focus on the NVidia driver. Thanks for your help.

    Not solved but thread closed.
