Removed graphics card, running on onboard graphics now, seemed to boot fine...we'll see if it BSOD's over next couple days.

Well, not a single BSOD so far, no errors or crashes in games...nothing, so I guess next stage is to try my gfx card in a different PCI-E slot to test if the main slot is working correctly?

Card won't fit in lower pci slot as it's too large and the sata ports get in the way...

Several benchmark programs ran, and the guy at the shop put the card in his own computer, ran skyrim and farcry with no problems, so graphics card seems fine...

If the card works fine in another computer but fails on yours, then either the PCIe slot of your computer is malfunctioning or the power supply is failing to provide enough power for it.

PSU is 810W and card suggests a 510W PSU on the box, and has worked flawlessly for a year on a 800W PSU, the PSU has also been tested previously, so that leaves the PCI slot malfunctioning I guess, seems strange this will be 3rd replacement motherboard under warrenty cause it's faulty. Oh well, I'll ring the shop and confirm, get the board replaced and see how it goes. I'll update again when I get a new board.

OK, that will be a good step, IMHO.

Urgh, well I wish I'd have played this earlier...Forgot I had not tried flashing BIOS to latest revision yet...did that, posting is a little slow but seems like everything is fixed, put graphics card back in, no BSOD's for over a week. Thanks for the help!
