    BSOD when installing Radeon drivers and some other times.

    I have been having BSODs on this new computer I am building for a friend. The blue screens were happening constantly whenever I tried to install the GPU drivers but one time it went through. It seems to crash after a few hours of sitting on the desktop but it crashes much more frequently when playing any games.

    I have tested the gpu in an another computer and have actually used two different gpus and two different motherboards. Yet the issues persists. I have also done a memtest with no errors.

    Code:
    BugCheck 124, {0, fffffa800afda028, bf800000, 114}

    Probably caused by : GenuineIntel

    A stop 0x124 is a hardware error, mostly.

    You say it is a new built. And it is crashing when you are trying to install a display driver. The card is a R9 one.

    I would suggest you to apply any other graphics card there. Lend your card to your friend for a testing purpose. Does it behave the same? Observe from the scratch. Uninstall display driver, apply the other card, try to install the display driver.

    Let us know how it goes.
