Boot in safe mode. Then follow the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

Attach the data with your reply post.

Then the situation is difficult.

Boot to System Recovery Options . Try Safe Mode with Command Prompt. In the command prompt .... enter the command ....

start msconfig

It will open the system configuration window, with the "general" tab selected.
  • Click the "startup" tab. Click "Disable all" > Apply > OK.
  • Click on "services" tab. Check the "Hide all Microsoft Services"; Click "Disable all" > Apply > OK
Then try to boot again normally. Is it failing still?

Then the options are limited in hand, specially when we dont know the bugcheck code.

Backup the data externally. Follow Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console, as the computer does not boot. You can use a live linux distro like Puppy too.

Then perform a clean reinstall.

Now we have some information.

The most probable causes of this error are ....
Failing HDD.
Improper boot parameters.
A boot virus, bootkit.
Let us check them one by one.
1. Test the HDD Using Seatools for DOS. Take both the short generic and the long generic test. The long generic test will take a long time depending on the size of the HDD.
**If it is a SSD, skip this test.
2. Do you have access to another computer right now? If so, download Partition wizard Bootable CD (the last one in the link). Burn it in a blank CD or in a USB flash stick.
Boot into Partition Wizards GUI following this instructions. When you are on the last screen, take a camera snap of the screen and upload the snap here.

We need to see the partitions and parameters.
3. Scan the system for possible virus infection with the following programs.
Let us know the results. The troubleshooting will be directed towards that way.

BTW, if it is not a failing HDD, clean reinstall will work.
