Getting various BSODs, most recent is 0x000000f4
Hello, so I had a problem described in this thread: System restore not working after BSOD but it was succesfully solved.
Basically my computer (Sony Vaio vpcsb4m9e) crashed with a BSOD and it was hard to get Windows working again. Before I managed to restore the system I got a lot of BSODs, 0x000000B4. After the system restore I got a blue screen again, with another code, I don't know which one anymore. After that I ran chkdsk and for a couple of days it looked like everything is fine. Today I got a BSOD again accompanied by some really loud rattling noise. 0x000000F4.
My best guess is that something happened when the laptop fell off a coffee table some weeks ago. Could there be serious hardware problems based on this description? (I don't know if this a useful information but my dual-boot-Linux works without errors.)
Thanks for your help!
