Maxie, what is your views on Acer? Is it a good product? I bought this desktop because I haven't had much trouble out of my Acer Windows 7 laptops. I was going for brand loyalty.

That is one brand of Computer that i have never had , So really can not comment ... I tend to stick with Lenovo as have had good experience with them....

Well, our previous desktop was a Dell with Windows Vista. It wasn't any good. There was a Dell for sale, but it was much higher than the Acer. I think Compaq is the at the bottom of the list for reliability. Acer is made by HP, I believe. HP's are supposed to be good.

Used to have a Dell i think they used to be better made than they are now .. Yes Compaq and Sony would be at the bottom of my list ... My son has an HP Laptop he seems to like it ... Lately though they seem to suffer from power problems ...
