BSOD twice in 10 min today, while downloading music from iTunes
Hello, I'm new, and I'm doing this in post in safe mode. 2 BSOD in 10 minutes of each other today, prompting this post, several times since I bought this new Dell computer in July of this year. I have updated several drivers since I bought it, there may have been a Dell update going on this afternoon that might have contributed from what I could see in the Event Viewer. I was on iTunes, listening to and downloading music when this happened today. I've tried looking up the codes to see what was the problems were, but I think this is over my head now. Please help. I did the SF Diagnostic Tool, I have uploaded this file. If you need any more information, please ask. Thank you for your time, it is appreciated.
Note 1: I am concerned about software conflicts. Running Outlook 2003, in compatibility mode.
Note 2: my event viewer said there have been 70,000 events since July! Yikes!
The last dozen or so events over a few seconds on the viewer said:
The Computer Browser service depends on the Server service which failed to start because of the following error: The dependency service or group failed to start.
The event before those said: Your computer was not assigned an address from the network (by the DHCP Server) for the Network Card with network address 0x8286F2D6E309. The following error occurred: 0x79. Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server.
-- There were several other events, but the 3rd listed event today was:Session "Microsoft Security Client OOBE" stopped due to the following error: 0xC000000D
And it just went downhill from there.
