BSoD, STOP 0x00000101 - ntoskrnl.exe + nvlddmkm.sys

First of all, apologies if I miss something.

This BSoD caused me to lose some unsaved data, and I am not happy. It happened multiple times in the past, but as I reset my PC to a system image, those minidumps aren't there. I would like to know if this could be caused by defective components, as most of them are nearly out of warranty. Attached is my "DM Log" zip file.

STOP code: 0x00000101
BlueScreenView flags up ntoskrnl.exe + nvlddmkm.sys as potential causes.

Thanks!

Uninstall the video driver, then reboot. Run Windows Update and check in the Optional Updates for the offered Microsoft-certified driver. Install it. Use computer as normal but do NOT update the driver further. Monitor for further BSOD's.

I can't find any new drivers.

The "important update" fails to install.
