Googling this issue seems to show correlation of this driver to the ASUS router USB ports. I do have my printer plugged in to the USB port on the router. I don't see how I can update this specific driver if it's on the router. One option is certainly to unplug the printer and just use it the old fashioned way.

It seems that it is something that is plugged into the router and using a Virtual USB hub. That could be the printer or the Xbox, or I presume something else. It is a virtual USBHUB though.

Would installing this help or hurt the situation or neither?

I honestly don't know, it's description states
Quote:
USB Network Gate for Windows/Linux is a professional solution, which allows sharing any number of USB ports and devices on your computer over LAN/WAN/VLAN/VPN/Internet. Remote computers (clients) can connect to your computer (server) and communicate with USB devices, plugged into shared remote ports, as if those devices were connected directly to client computers. All applications that work with remote USB devices won’t see the difference and will treat them as local ones
It sounds like it is for connecting to or with remote computers.

OK, thanks for your input, Essenbe. At this point I think I'd like to just unplug the printer from the router and see if that fixes the issue. I can live with that solution if the BSOD's stop. I'll submit another minidump if necessary, and will cross my fingers in the meantime.

From a little more reading, the driver you asked about could be the one you need. You have just done a new install and have not added any programs to it, so you have little to lose if you are wrong. It seems the worse thing that could happen would be another clean install, or you could make an image first and restore the image if you had to.

Well, I have done about 3 re-installs in the past week so what's one more? I'll give it a shot and see what happens.

Why not make and keep a System Image on an external drive and you'll never have to do another clean install.
