BSOD after updates, gaming, random times multiple error codes

    Hi everyone

I've tried many "solutions" that I've found on this forum, but no one seems to have the same exact problems that I see. Or rather, I see multiple errors but once combined the solutions don't work. I'm not a 10/10 in computer savvyness ... close to a 7?

I fresh installed Windows 7 onto a brand new SSD because I previously thought it was the SSD that kept creating errors. BSOD happened multiple times per day, everyday even when doing nothing. I didn't save the error codes from this install but that was all erased. So I went and bought a new and better SSD.

So on the new SSD. Today specifically it has BSOD three times. I've looked in eventviewer, msconfig, memorytest... I'm running in circles. Where should I start?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Slayter, welcome to Sevenforums.

What was the initial reason for needing to install? You were receiving errors/BSOD on another OS or you tried to fresh install on the first SSD and started receiving the BSOD?

One of your dumps indicates memory corruption.

Please run Memtest86 RAM - Test with Memtest86+

It will take a while and I recommend doing it over night. Let it run for at least 8 passes. If you encounter any errors, stop the test, you will most likely need new ram or your memory control is going bad, which would mean the motherboard is bad. Lets just check for errors first and report back.

I ran this over night and it ran through 6 times but it came up with almost 300,000 errors. So definitely something is wrong. I'm going to take out the 2 extra sticks and run them one at a time now. :/
(I kinda thought this could be the error but I really didn't want it to be because they are expensive.) I'll check back after testing some more. Thank you very much for your help so far.

    UPDATE:
So sticks 1 and 2 (from slots 1 and 2) come back with no errors - yay! But stick 3 (from slot 3) pops up with errors almost immediately. I ran it again with sticks 1 and 2 in slots 1 and 2 with no errors too. So apparently stick 3 is the problem maker. Is there anything I can do to fix the stick?

It was a fresh install on a new SSD (empty). The old one was also creating errors but it was a cheap refurbished pos, therefore I treated myself to a new one.

Faulty RAM DiMM's cannot be fixed - you need to purchase a replacement.

Thank you very much for your help. It seems to be working perfectly fine without the third stick.

Good to know we figured out the problem! If anything else comes up, feel free to come back but start a new thread since we solved this one.
