BSOD After random amount of time, suspected hardware error
Since I moved to college, I decided to ship the desktop I built to my apartment. I had invested a decent amount into it so I didn't want to go many many months without using it. I decided to ship it via USPS after taking it apart. I thought that would have made it safe enough to ship, but I was mistaken seeing as the packages were handled so poorly there is now a huge dent in the corner of my steel tower where the PSU is mounted. Luckily I had invested in the insurance option and I got some money for damaged parts.
Unforunately for me I now get BSOD's when using my computer. It can be anywhere from a crash during startup to 20 minutes of fine usage before it dies. I've only managed to see the details of the BSOD once (always immediately starts up again) and it said that there was a unrecoverable hardware error. I suspect that it is the hard drive that is failing, but then again I'm no expert at hardware issues and figured that this would be a good place to start. I want to know which parts I need to replace to get it fully functioning again. I hope that it is just the HDD as I am just a poor college student
Any help is greatly appreciated!
