OK, you have a 5770 video card. your 600W PSU is good. So that is OK. Just the card is getting fairly old, and that card usually runs pretty hot. I have a 5770 I use as a spare and it idles at 50C which is not good.

OK DV is running drivers selected that were not Microsoft was not very many, some were unknown.. i did not see video card drivers listed unless that's what is showing up unknown. I did update video drives on DEC 16 th. But the issues were happening before that anyways.

I was thinking that my video card was getting old and ready for a new one. I've looked at other cards before but not really sure what to get. I know what i want I want a card with extra ram on it at least 1gig. My computer graphics runs smooth and the when playing like World of Warcraft (graphics in game I can set to ultra and have no problems), Unlike my husbands computer when he is playing his graphics are turned down and i can still see it stutter. His computer is a lot newer then mine too. He don't have the extra ram on his card.

If it's time for a new card - it's time.

With graphics cards, I guess it's what you want to do with them and what you expect from them. I like overclocking and benchmarking, so I usually have some pretty good ones. I play some games too, so I like a real good one. I won't try to tell you that it is worth what I paid for mine, it probably isn't. But at my age, I just usually buy what I want.
You can't take it with you.

LOL Ya I hear that.

Well the card I have now I bought it when it was still fairly new, don't remember the price.

I don't about overclocking and like I said it runs my game smooth with no lag, skips or delays.
I can't even stand to watch my husband play on his.. the video lag ugh!

And with the holiday's i'm looking at nothing more then $200. to spend on a new card if needed.

I have WoW running now and with the DV the video is a little slow but not too bad ..hoping for a crash so i can find out what's going on and get it fixed.

Not sure what else to run in the background.

Maybe i'll go read the event viewer and see if i can sort anything out.

I went into the event viewer and broke the events into groups and numbered the events on how many times "X" happened from when the first freeze up on Dec 11 to Yesterday . I've attached a text file.

I don't know what to think about any of it. But there seems be a lot of like (Service Control Manager 7001) over 100 if i add them up.

Turn Driver verifier off. See if that helps any at all. You are stressing the computer with it on, so maybe turning it off will help. You have had it on long enough to have caught anything if it was going to happen, maybe turning it off will make it better.

I have recently starting to get the BSOD 0x0000000A while Windows is starting up. I have seen that its caused by drivers? The ONLY driver i updated was my GTX 580 3GB card and that should have been a stable update! Minidump is in attachments.
