    Look at your sata controller in bios, or go to device manager and look under IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers, you should see at the bottom a name with AHCI in it or IDE in it. That will tell you which it is set to. Don't change it or your computer won't boot. there is a way, I'll tell you how if you need to change it

    ok so was just viewing device manager and typing on forum with my phone computer crashed here is new ble screen i think old is there two

    Also not sure entirely how to enable ahci in bios is that in my manual

    It was set to ide i now changed it to ahci that should be better right?

    Any ideals as to why its saying memory corruption i have already been down the whole testing memory road or could it be to do with the memory not being in the blue slots like profdlp suggested

    Possibly, but it could be a driver or bad memory or the video card memory.
