That is your Ralink RT2860 series Wireless LAN Card (you may have a different manufacturer)
You may look and see if you can find a more current driver. You may not though.

Ok, just to be clear, I'm going to Uninstall the Graphics driver AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics, but when it asks me whether I want to delete the driver software for this device, I will leave it unchecked.

Also, I will look for an updated Driver for the Wireless LAN card. When I look in Device Manager it says that it's a Ralink RT5390 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter, although the HP Site says the latest is Ralink 802.11 b/g/n WiFi Adapter.

I will ONLY use drivers from the HP site.

Please let me know your thoughts.

    Thank you

Device manager just tells you the model number too. How do you usually update your graphics driver?

I've uninstalled both drivers and then reinstalled them from the HP site.

I also, then went into Device Manager and clicked Update Drivers and was told by both of them that I have the best software for the drivers.

How do I usually upgrade the drivers? I don't really. The last update for this machine was ~3 years ago. I never had any problem with this computer until late December after updating some software (Skype, Virtual DJ, Audacity, etc.)

Just for curiosity, with Audacity did you download the FFMPEG file? If so, did you download the EXE file or the ZIP file? Also, where did you download Audacity from?

I believe that I downloaded it from Filehippo, but I believe that they DL it from the original website. The file I DLed and installed is entitled audacity-win-2.0.6.exe

I had a previous version of Audacity installed and never had any problems.

My gut feeling is that it there was a problem with a program that I updated. But, i'm not sure. It could just be coincidence that 2 days after the program updates, that the BSOD started.

Would you recommend that I uninstall audacity?

If I believed that was the problem I would. Then test to see if there are no more BSODs. If there were none, I would reinstall them one at a time with enough time between them to find out which one was causing the problem. I would also run as many virus scans with different programs as I could.

Hi. I deleted Audacity and then the ComSurrogate error, windows explorer error and Skype error was fixed.

So then I thought that, finally, I had found the culprit.

Unfortunately, I was wrong because about 5 minutes ago, it gave me a BSOD.

    I'm uploading the report.

The only software changes that I have made since uninstalling the Graphics Driver and Wifi Driver is that I've uninstalled Audacity and reinstalled Skype 7.0

Kindly let me know your thoughts.

    Thank you.

    Upload your MSINFO32.nfo file too.

    1. Click on the start button
    2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
    3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
    4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
    5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.
