BSOD Error logs

I have had 5 BSOD's in the last two days. Where does Win 7 store the log files so that I can get some help figuring out what the problem is? Thanks for the help.

The zip contains crash dumps of last November only, which may/might not reflect the present situation rightly.

FYI, those were caused by Avast.
Code:
fffff880`0a04f448 fffff880`06b3e155Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\aswMonFlt.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for aswMonFlt.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for aswMonFlt.sys
 aswMonFlt+0x2155
ATM you may free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.
  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept then restart.
See how it goes. If it BSODs more, upload the latest zip.

BSOD Again

Hi Arc,

I was going 1 Day BSOD free and then... BOOM it happened again . I left my laptop for a minute or two and came back to see the BSOD. This time I noticed that it said "KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR" "BSOD Error- Stop 0x0000007A" this was different from other times. I'm attaching the minidump files, but I would like to state that under Startup and Recovery--> Write debugging information--> it says kernel memory dump. Could that be the reason why the zip only contains crash dumps of last November? Thanks.

***Update: I changed my settings to create minidump files, later I got another BSOD but no minidump file was created.

No crash dump recorded.

A special type of stop 0x7A may cause it. Next time you take a camera snap of the BSOD scree and let us see it. The parameters will tell about it.

At the same time, test your HDD. SeaTools for DOS and Windows - How to Use. Take both the short test and the long test.

Let us know the result.

The short test passed.
However, when I was doing the long test and left the computer for a couple of minutes I came back to a BSOD. Should I re-run the long test again? Please advise, thanks.

A concurrent occurrence of sop 0x7A and 0xF4 gives a strong notion that the disc subsystem(either the physical dis or the cables/ports or the controller drivers) is causing the issue.

IMHO you may try the long generic test for one more time, because it may lead us to a conclusion.

EDIT: Memory dumping failed .... that also indicates to disc corruption. The test will tell precisely.

Long generic test failed, and then got BSOD shortly after.
