OK, get the appropriate one and see how it goes. :)
The driver has now been successfully reinstalled. I will try playing Smite for a while. If any problems occur, I will return to this thread.
Edit: Just played a whole game with no problems! A simple, clean re-install really helps. :) <3

Good news, apparently. :)
Use the computer and observe how it runs. Let us know for any further BSOD.
Sadly, at about 3 minutes prior to this post, my laptop BSOD'd once again. Same code, same driver.
That means some unwanted staff of the nvidia driver package is either not uninstalled or got reinstalled.
Ok I'll try the reinstall again. I might have done something wrong last time.
Another BSOD. Could it be the actual video card that's the problem?
Can you post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions? Just want to see the latest crash dump before saying it.
Here is the new .zip file. I should also note that my computer froze today.
I wonder why you are getting the nvidia bloatware installed.
Uninstall your installed display driver using DDU.
Then download the driver 347.09 WHQL again ....
Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.Install the latest WHQL only.
- Uninstall All nvidia items in Control Panel > Programs and features
- 3D Vision Control Driver
- 3D Vision Driver
- Graphics Driver
- HD Audio Driver
- PhysX
- nvidia Update
- GeForce Experience
(Are you using nvidia chipset drivers? If so, dont uninstall anything other than those are listed).- Now follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling
- Go to Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers, Download 347.09 WHQL. While installing, Select Custom (Advanced) install. In the next page, follow this settings:
Attachment 347512
- Click on the Start button
- Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
- Select the “Startup” tab.
- Deselect all items other than the antivirus and the touchpad driver SynTPEnh.
- Apply > OK
- Accept then restart.
Hope this time you will not get any other nvidia crap installed. As far as they are there, no valid decision can be made.
nvkflt is not any must. It is not present in my system. And I am using the same driver. As long as it is present there in the system, will not be able to attain at a valid decision.Code:BugCheck 116, {fffffa800d437010, fffff88004964008, ffffffffc000009a, 4} *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nvkflt.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nvkflt.sys Probably caused by : nvkflt.sys ( nvkflt+15008 ) Followup: MachineOwner ---------
