Frequent BSOD (mostly during sleep) ntoskrnl.exe+f2124

    Hello, Newbie here!

For the past few weeks I've been coming home to find my laptop has shut itself down. When I reboot it tells me it recovered from a blue screen.

I have not witnessed the blue screen while working--I only find it has shut down when I've been away. Fan seems to run a lot, but this might be normal. 3 year old HP Pavilion dm4 laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

Attached is my error file from DM Log Collector.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Wendy

The problem is common on systems using a NetGear router with outdated firmware.

See this thread for the solution:

Ok, I do have a Netgear router, but my firmware seemed to be up to date. I downloaded the latest firmware file anyway, just to be safe, and am uploading it to the router. It appears to be the exact same version. I'll report back if this fixes it or not!

Update - after some more reading, I uninstalled Netgear Genie, too. Hoping these two things are the fix!

    Thank you.

Seems to have worked-- the computer slept for several hours today and woke up just fine! Thank you for the assistance!
