BSOD playing Don't Starve Together and while downloading on bnet

Hello! New to the forums here...hopefully i'll followed the guidelines well enough.

Seem to be having the same crash/bsod problem with the same ones over and over...hal.dll and ntoskrnl.exe as well as pci.sys

Google'd what I could so I thought it might be a RAM error. I noticed my ram wasn't on MSI's compatibility list for my MSI x99s SLI PLUS mobo. Noticed there was a bios update so I flashed my bios which was originally 1.1 to 1.5 which specifically states that it adds more support to different kinds of ram.

Things were running great until just earlier this evening when I was playing and streaming Don't Starve Together. No actually BSOD came up but the whole screen froze...i could not move my mouse and an annoying sound was on loop...to my surprise it was the same dmp errors i listed above from before i flashed my bios...

I don't know what to do at this point. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to Sevenforums!
The cause of your problem is the hardware. Run MemTest86+ for 8 passes and Seatools for DOS and Windows.

You would think these gaming PC websites would know what's compatible with each other before shipping it out....

I will give that a try and post my findings afterwards.

What do you mean by that. Report back after the tests are done.

I dunno. Figured I'd at least post if the tests you suggested help solve the problem or not.

I reached 8 passes with no errors. Maybe that last crash was just a random one...i'll leave this as solved until it happens again. Thanks Laith
