Random hanging while doing almost anything

Hey peeps
My HDD randomly hangs randomly.
When I try to access it from file explorer, the explorer loads in some of the folders in that hard drive, but then the loading bar loads slowly and eventually never loads. The HDD then hangs and after that, I can't access the HDD until I restart. Sometimes, when I'm playing games that are installed in my SSD, my whole PC would crash. My cpu temps never go over 50, I used to get Watchdog violation BSOD but I upped my voltage to 1.35V and I'm not sure if that stops it or not, but for now it's working.
I tried scanning PC for viruses but no luck :<
also: no BSODs happen. the pc is just hanging and I can't do anything until I restart.

My specs are:
Biostar Hi-Fi A88W 3D motherboard
AMD athlon 750k
EVGA GTX 660 SC
some crappy psu that works fine
vengeance ddr3 ram (8gigs)
Crucial m500 240gb SSD
WD caviar blue 1TB

thanks!

Try this:
1. Click Start
2. In the search box, type cmd
3. In the list that appears, right-click on cmd.exe and choose Run as administrator
4. In the command window that opens, type sfc /scannow and hit enter.
5. Report the output from the command window once it finishes.

Now try this:
1. Click Start
2. In the search box, type cmd
3. In the list that appears, right-click on cmd.exe and choose Run as administrator
4. In the command window that opens, type chkdsk /R and hit enter.

You will be prompted whether you wish to schedule a chkdsk scan at next startup, type 'Y' and hit enter. Now restart your computer and chkdsk will automatically run.

Nope, sadly. didn't fix it. I've done another chkdsk this morning but my hard drive is still hanging.
The sfc didn't find any errors.
and I think the chkdsk is only working on my ssd, but im not sure
update: my HDD kept on hanging and after a while of leaving computer on, whole pc froze and got a DPC watchdog violation bluescreen. I upped the voltage of the cpu just in case.
DPC watchdog violation was happening before I got the SSD so i doubt its ssd firmware

Reset all overclocks back to default - changing your voltage settings will not fix a BSOD, I'm not sure where you got that from, but its incorrect.

Now do this:

1. Download the DM Log Collector application to your desktop by clicking the link below

DM Log Collector.exe

2. Run it by double-clicking the icon on your desktop, and follow the prompts.
3. Locate the .ZIP file that is created on your desktop, and upload it here in your next reply.

huh... windows crashed after restarting my pc (my pc would load into a BS and then restart quickly without being able to see what the BSoD was)
i refreshed windows (all my program files were erased, fresh windows install)
i can now post the logs

There are no .dmp files present to analyse the BSOD.

Do the following:

1. Reset your voltages back to standard/stock settings - that information regarding voltages is completely wrong
2. Update Windows fully
3. Setup .dmp file collection: *use Small memory dump option)

Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD
