DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE ntoskrnl.exe had this twice now :( help plz

had a BSOD twice now because of this.

It happens when I let the pc in sleep mode when I'm off to work.

The pc will turn on though for a smart backup that back ups files I selected each 30 min. After a period of inactivity of 5 min my pc will go back to sleep.

And this repeats for the rest of the day, night until I log in again.

However this BSOD troubles me. I think I should resolve it.

It seems to be a common issue related to a driver or so?

Should I download and apply this hotfix?
"0x0000009F" Stop error in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2 when the computer enters or resumes from the Soft Off (S5) power state

I know you guys are busy but all I need to know is a yes or no on using the patch.

If that doesn't work we can try an other route.

At least 50% of the time my laptop will BSOD everytime, when closing the lid (sleep). BlueScreenView does not provide enough information to determine the cause. My thoughts, based on hours of searching, is that it may be wireless/bluetooth or MS Forefront Endpoint Protection. I have not used the...

DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE caused by ntoskrnl.exe (again)
In my previous thread about a week ago I solved this problem by updating my Ralink USB wireless driver. Things were fine for a few days. Then after Windows Update (it seems) the problem is back. The two dumps of concern are from Sep/12/2012 and Sep/11/2012. I'd appreciate it if someone can...
