    BSOD in games with HD3650

Hi! I have pc that has a ati hd 3650 video card.Im getting blue screens in games and sometimes in browser.I can play smoothly 2-3 hours but after the first bsod when i try to play a game, after 5 minutes i get bsod and so on.I think the video card is the fault cuz i replaced it with a nvidia fx5200 and played a game for like 10-12 hours and no blue screen.I installed 4 different drivers none of them changed the situation,i didnt install any driver just the one windows installs it same thing. With driver 13.9 i get atikmpag.sys blue screen. With 12.1/12.3/12.6 drivers i get blue screen but i cant see the error. The video card slot is AGP,and is a hd3650 agp ddr2 64 bit.To mention that i get blue screen even if i dont install any driver.I get with Microsoft Corporation WDDM 1.1 installed by windows.

Counterfeit installations such as yours contains heavily modified code that causes the installation to behave it unexpected ways. Analysing BSOD's and determining their causes on these sorts of installations is very unreliable.

My recommendation is to start with a clean slate, and install a genuine version of Windows. This will minimise the problems you are experiencing, and make subsequent diagnosis of BSOD's far more reliable. Once you are running a genuine Windows installation, and are still experiencing BSOD's, we will be happy to help you solve them :)
