340.52 works well for me on two different computer.

Check your Windows Updates for a Nvidia update. One came out today. Installed them on two computers and
things still work as they should.
i keep geting an error when i try install the nivida graphics adapter
nvm found my answer on a another post on this site :)

If you receive Windows Update error 80070103 while installing updates, you might be trying to install a driver that is already installed on your computer or a driver that has a lower compatibility rating than one you already have installed

Why does it tell you - you need an antivirus program when clearly you have AVG in your specs? Personally I do not like AVG because when I used way back then it was crap. It can be a cause of problems with other softwares too and my thoughts are try running the machine with it dabbled for just a while or change it for something else ie Microsoft Security Essentials - 7 has Windows Defender but it is only for spyware according to this Windows Defender and Microsoft Security Essentials: Which one do I need? | Cyber Trust Blog

I am not going to say what I think are good security suites a it is a topic that attracts a lot of really lengthy discussions in general. Suffice to say I have used the same security software for the last five years and have had no issues that are not easily fixed.

Besides doing that with the driver for the GPU you might if you have not done so already run these

https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/433-disk-check.html < if necessary include the /f and /r in the command line as per Option2
    http://www.superantispyware.com/
    http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/
ADW download from bleeping computer delete any rubbish found with the malware scans
i do not use avg anymore i use avast and it dose not say i need a antivirus i was using it as an example sorry for the late reply lol
i have run a scan all all of my hardrives through malware bytes ,avast and adwcleaner witch just freezes on scanning web browsers and stops responding will do the other scan's later and report back
    (mal and avast found nothing)
just did a scan with with super antie spyware and found some stuff
sfc /scannow just says windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations i have also run Disk Check witch found nothing

No worries re reply mate we al have things to do and it is good you don't have AVG as I gave it away years ago as a pest and so hard to remove from the machine.

The ADW well it does cause a few issues at times and in my case my Kaspersky definitely has to be overridden when I have to run it and that is when I am getting nothing back from the other tow. SAS will always pick up a lot of PUP's and the odd Trojan so it is worth doing regular scans in addition to the Malwarebytes as no security is foolproof and again my Kaspersky which has been rated high for some time now - still misses stuff.

Anyhow keep us updated on how it goes with the graphics.

Mmm could be a false positive but if it is bothering you then you could try this
Emsisoft Free Emergency Kit: Portable malware scanner | Free removal of Viruses, Bots, Spyware, Keyloggers and Trojans I just run the Emergency and Command line scans.

Now might I suggest you run the GeForce experience from here it should give you the correct driver by default GeForce Experience Tweaks your Game Settings Automatically | GeForce I run it and it automatically lets me know when drivers need updating and haven't had any problems with it yet.

The only othe thing we would like to see is another dump files /s.

    ok update time
i ended up messing around with uninstalling everything nvida. related using max uninstaller witch selet all my info and drivers ect then i try ed installing it through drivers that i have previously downloaded. and it kept saying that nvida dose not recognize my nvida devices so after that i worried thinking i fuc*ed my gpus but then i thought hmm i wounder what will happen if i try use Ge Force Experience to install them it worked but i still seem to be having issue on it as when i play fc4 it black screens on death and i never get revived or come back to life but audio still plays and i can not do anything including going to the main menu i have try ed to verify the files 2 times and it says its fine so i have no idea why fc4 refuses to work on my pc but i will try out otter games and see if it crashes on them .(oh btw thanks for the link to Emsisoft as it got rid of that ad cookie :) ) i think it may just be the current driver and i may have just have to wait till the next update .

i will leave this up for 2 or 3 days to check if any other games act funny or not (if not i will mark it is solved )
    have a good day

Now I had a very similar issue with my new Asus ROG gamer laptop and the global site and the "local" (some call centre in the Philippines) kept telling me to download drivers and each time it kept flashing up the machine did not have any dedicated GPU in the machine, which I know it has.

I eventually (after three months and numerous attempts at getting the driver installed and by sheer luck) got onto the service centre in Sydney and within an hour the young fellow down there had my machine set up. What I had to do was type in support.asus.com.au (for out here) in the address bar and it brought up a completely different page to NVidia or other Asus support sites and there it was a few clicks away and I had my driver installed!

So if you have a UK based MSI or Palit support site it might be worth a call to find out form the horses mouth as it were - if they have a UK based site.
Now I don't know but I had a quick look and came up with these
NVIDIA Board Partners | NVIDIA UK - you can see the different brands in here
::Palit-Contact:: < this one looks as if the German site is the closest to you.

Anyway for the cost of a phone call it would save chasing your tail eh?
