In that case you may delete the driver in the drivers folder.

yea I deleted the driver file that was located in C:/Windows/System32/drivers/MijXfilt.sys
Its no longer present when I look now only when I browse my registry do I still find traces.
From what I read they shouldn't cause any issues but I'm still waiting to see if another bsod occurs or not. I've avoided testing it with my ps4 controller plugged in but I'm going to try it when I get back home today to see if the driver reinstalls itself or crashes still.

Wise decision. Keep it under a keen observation and let us know when needed.

There would not be those problems if the MotioninJoy site had been accessible.

Well I did crash again and I'm sure its the same driver being annoying. I found my windows 7 disc and if the website isn't available by tonight I'll prolly end up reformatting.

At this point you should follow Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try.

I reformatted and even with nothing on my computer i still bsod. I'm so annoyed and don't understand why this is happening. It says a different driver is causing it in bluescreen event viewer but googling it got me nowhere.
I attached my dmp file but I pretty much give up. Gonna be stuck with a shitty PC for the next 2 years of college.

Counterfeit installations such as yours contains heavily modified code that causes the installation to behave it unexpected ways. Analysing BSOD's and determining their causes on these sorts of installations is very unreliable.

My recommendation is to start with a clean slate, and install a genuine version of Windows. This will minimise the problems you are experiencing, and make subsequent diagnosis of BSOD's far more reliable.

My original disc is in storage across the country so I'm stuck with this for now. Nothing I can do about it because I can't afford to purchase a copy here. Thanks for the help up to this point.
