Multiple BSOD followed by problems booting.

Hey guys. I have had amazing results with this site in the past, I am hoping it will happen again. So thanks in advance. I dont know much at the moment, but I'll tell you what I know. Please let me know if there is anything missing. At the moment it is BSODing multiple times a week now. Sometimes after it BSOD it says "select proper boot device." I solve this by unplugging my second harddrive for a few hours then turning off the pc and reconnecting and everything is back to normal. Attached is the required BSOD file.

Uninstall Bitdefender. At least least as a test. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Let us know for any further BSOD.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll keep the thread open for a few weeks, if there is no BSOD, I'll marked solved. But I'll treat it as a soft close? :)

No, give it the due time. The time test is required to see that if anything else is also playing a role there.

    Something is going on there.

Try to download and install the network driver, the latest version from Realtek (take the 4th item of the list, that is teh "Win7 and Server 2008 R2 Auto Installation Program" one) and install it.

Also, Scan the system for possible virus infection with the following programs.

I am afraid of the hardware related problem. If it is driver related, then there is solution.

I am including screenshots just in case. I did everything request and I did a scan from the mbam scanner you told me to put on. It found a few things...lol. I kept them in quaretine because im not sure how to remove them. I already clicked delete once and it just sent them there. But there quarantined. I ran out of time and have to do the windows defender tomorrow. I'll continue to keep my pc on for the time test just incase. Your amazing!

Lol ... lots of pups there. :) And all are from this place:
    Product: SmdmF Configuration
    Company: Aztec Media Inc
    Description: SmdmFConfiguration
    That is c:\program files (x86)\settings manager\smdmf\smdmfservice.exe

And that is causing problem there for sure. Examples:
1/9/2015 10:36 PM Windows Error Reporting Fault bucket , type 0
    Event Name: BEX
    Response: Not available
    Cab Id: 0

    Problem signature:
    P1: SmdmFService.exe
    And
    1/9/2015 10:36 PM Application Error
Faulting application name: SmdmFService.exe, version: 5.0.0.14963,
    Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Settings Manager\smdmf\SmdmFService.exe
    So better you uninstall it.

Did the ethernet driver got installed properly? And is it working properly?

I sorted the uninstall windows by publisher a - z. No aztec. I found the file path. Folder... empty?!?!?!?! So I goggled "actec media" and found this guide for removal. It seems pretty thorough. What do you think?!

Oh. I thought I had posted it before, somehow by uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it with the driver you recommended it is seemingly working fine now. PC has been fine ever since, not sure if it helped but I ran ccleaner and auslogics disc defrag just to be safe and it seems to be working fine. Maybe those files being on quarantine are helping too.

    (update)
I found a scan for rootkits option in the malware bytes software. I deleted all the files in quarentine and started another scan. I'll update it here when I can.

Remove "Settings Manager" by Aztec Media Inc pop-up virus
