BSOD every few days, message USB_BUGCODE_DRIVER

My computer's been crashing every couple days since about December (based on the dump file dates). Yeah, I've kind of been ignoring it for way too long. I haven't seen the BSOD message every time, but when I have it's always been 'USB_BUGCODE_DRIVER'. The specific errors have varied a bit - the most recent two were 0xDEADDEAD and 0x000000FE.

My computer does generally seem to have some trouble staying connected to things plugged in via USB (mostly my phone and a USB mouse), but some of the BSOD episodes have occurred when nothing was plugged in as well. Any help would be much appreciated.

ETA: Driverview and MSINFO32 files attached.

Hi Agmine.

Upload the list of all the third party drivers Using NirSoft DriverView :
  • Download and execute Driverview
  • View > Hide Microsoft Drivers
  • Edit > Select all
  • File > Save Selected Items
  • In the Save dialog, Set the path to desktop, Put "Driverview" in the name field, and save.
  • Zip the .txt file and upload it.
Also upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.
  1. Click on the start button
  2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
  3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
  4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
  5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.
We need to see these two files.

There is nothing specific which can cause a bugcode USB driver. Neither in the dumps nor in the other files. But there things like this ....
Code:
Description : ACPI Virtual Power Controller Driver
Version : 6.1.2601.3
Company : Lenovo Corporation
Product Name : Lenovo
Modified Date : 15/05/2012 3:20:19 PM
Created Date : 15/12/2011 5:09:58 PM
Filename : C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\AcpiVpc.sys
Those factory installed bloats are often problematic, specially when they are old. I'd recommend you to Clean Up Factory Bloatware, with a special reference to Point #13
Quote:
13. Consider a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which is often better than getting a new computer considering how pre-installed bloatware can corrupt Windows 7 even if it's completely cleaned up.
