BSOD Unmountable_Boot_Volume 0x000000ED
Hi everyone.
After turning off my PC without wanting it, I had the bad surprise to get a BSOD when rebooting.
What I know about it so far :
- Safe Mode doesn't work
- Type error UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
- STOP : 0x000000ED (0x86BE9235, 0xC0000185, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
- When I try to use the Windows 7 recovery tool, I get to the loading Windows logo, then All I have is a black screen with a white cursor that I can move, but nothing else, and it doesn't change even after hours of waiting (like it's in some kind of loop)
- I already tried to use a USB key with a bootable Windows 7 on it, but I just get the same thing as before (black screen with the cursor)
I tried to take a look at what people already did to solve this problem, but I can't even get to a point where I can run the CHKDSK C: r/ so far...
I can't, for instance, use this tutorial :
Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Boot
Should I try to run SeaTools in my case in DOS mode ? I tried to check if it was compatible for me (AHCI, IDE, SATA config problem) except I'm running on a HP Pavilion dv5 and this option is not available in DOS..
All in all, I'm kinda lost after hours of trials, could you guys help me with this ?
Thank you in advance.
