    BSOD Shutting Down and Putting Computer to sleep, Error 0x0000009f


    Recently I have been having problems with shutting down and putting my computer to sleep. I do not know the cause nor have I had this problem before. I sadly do not have the stop code parameter information but I do have the files made by the dm collector. All I know about this code is that it may be a memory leak, which I do not know how to fix.

    This one can be a little tricky to solve because i've had it and it's annoying and took me a while to fix, anyways lets get to troubleshooting.

    The dumpfile was unhelpful.
    Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours. Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
    Your system may slow down a little but that's because you have Driver Verifier on. If you crash when you logon in your computer then go into Safe Mode and disable Driver Verifier. Safe Mode

have had this problem a couple of times, Tried to update my BIOS but did not work also tried to remove any new drives that may have caused the problem, but I am still getting it, so here I am asking for help:sarc:

Happens every once in a while while trying to put my computer to sleep. When I try and wake it up, it stays on a black screen then restarts. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Hello, Recently when I've been fully shutting down my laptop (Alienware m17x R3) I have been getting a BSOD with the tagline DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. Attached is the minidump file. If there is anything else that needs to be uploaded or any problems please just let me know. Thanks! :)
