RANDOM BSOD / Regular Use / Gaming

This started happening after I did the windows updates I think. Not 100% sure on that but it might be a reason...maybe you guys can help clarify.

I bought a new SSD and installed Win7. Installed the latest gpu drivers. Newer drivers came out so I even went as far as using the DDU application to do a super clean install.

I've had my EVGA GTX 970 FTW Edition RMA'd once already. I feel like I'm running out of options at this point. Same error over and over.

Just noticed a new bios is available so I will do that after this post.

WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124) <--------- whatever this is....i can't find any viable solutions...

Help please!!
I've attached the dump files as well...no OC going on either.

Hello Mama now I am guessing you have tried updating the graphics driver because it looks to me to be a graphics problem see ref in red

You could try updating th driver from NVidia instead of the EVGA site too Drivers | GeForce and use one that is not a game specific one to start with.

Thanks for your response!

I actually have only been getting drivers directly from the nvidia site. I didn't even know EVGA had their own versions of the drivers.

Ok well it seems that you may have a direct problem with the device then but just for the heck of it this is the EVGA site driver https://www.evga.com/support/download/default.aspx

I suppose it might be worth a try before you do anything about the GPU - nothing to lose anyway.
