BSOD every time i turn on PC, hard power off then ok, BCCode 4e
hello,
really difficult to make an effective title for this so apologies.
i've had the same mobo, ram, cpu since 2010.
despite different hard drives, ssd's, graphics cards over the years, multiple formats, i've always had this issue.
i use the pc for a day. i switch it off. i come back a day later, say after 8 hours sleep. I turn it on. It will get to some of the start up healthcheck screens, maybe sometimes make it to the windows login screen - then it'll blue screen, with a memory error dump thing.
it restarts automatically, and will get stuck in that loop. To stop it, i have to hold down power button at any point to turn it off, switch it on again, it'll get to 'windows has experienced an error, start normal' etc... i start normal and everything is fine.
if i've ever had to turn the pc off for long periods of time - this is what i have been confronted with every time - for 5 years.
If i've had to turn the pc off and on again within say, 5 minutes - it's fine. Its if i leave it off for more than 6-8 hours or something, or certainly longer than 8 hours.
part of me doesn't care anymore because i'm about to build a new rig, but would still like to get to the bottom of this. I've attached the BSOD file thing.
if it's still not clear what the problem is from my description and the attachments/pic, later today i'll upload a vid to youtube showing what's happening.
