    BSOD on correct shutdown

Now I am not that worried about this but more curious.

My secondary laptop has had a couple of BSOD's when shutting down - correctly (the machine shuts down to the static blue screen - doesn't shut off).

Now the message on the screen itself tells me that the ndis.sys is involved yet my dump files analyse it as fwpkclnt.sys which tells me it is a Windows update issue yet the ndis.sys Googles up a driver problem.

Can anyone enlighten me as to what this is all about?? as they seem to be non related to me.

Have you got the dump files to upload John? Run the DM Log Collector to grab the files and post them up, I can't see either of those to you listed being the problem as they're Windows kernel mode drivers.

John the ATI driver is being flagged, it's really old so would be worth checking the laptop's vendor for an updated version.
    Code:

There are a few instances of this as well so it may be worth trying to update the drivers listed below. It could be coincidental mind.
