Lucid, you have onboard graphics, I believe. Please completely remove the graphics card from the machine and plug in your monitor to your onboard graphics and see if that stops the BSODs.

I was just trying to see if there was a way to confirm my suspicion. It seems it is your Motherboard slots or your PSU. We have tried different drivers, different cards and have the same results. We tried Driver Verifier to see if there was some driver conflicting and there was not. The only 2 things left, it seems, is the Motherboard or the PSU.

Are you sure there couldn't be a hardware fault with the CPU? Iv'e replaced the motherboard once already and so surely it's unlikely that I have received two faulty ones.

Do you think that the PSU is could faulty or do you think it may be incompatible with my components?

I don't believe the PSU is incompatible with the components. And, yes it could be the CPU, but a CPU is usually the last component to be suspicious of. But, it does happen. You could make sure there are no bent pins on the CPU/socket.

I am not sure of anything really. But, just looking at what we have done logically, Driver Verifier did not show any very bad drivers, we have changed drivers several times, we changed cards and all had the same results. CPU not withstanding, the only things with a video card are the card itself, the drivers, the Motherboard slots or the PSU.

When you changed the Motherboard did you have this problem? It is not that unusual. I not long ago had to order 4 Motherboards before I got one that was not defective. There comes a point in this testing that you just have to make a choice. The PSU and Motherboard are very hard to impossible to test. But, when you have tried almost everything else, it seems it would be one of those two. But, it is possible it is the CPU, just not very likely unless you have overclocked it extremely high and run some very high voltages through it.

Also, recall the dump files we were getting

Code:
Section 2 : x86/x64 MCA
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Descriptor @ ffffe00048617148
Section @ ffffe000486172d0
Offset : 664
Length : 264
Flags : 0x00000000
Severity : Fatal
Error : BUSLG_GENERIC_ERR_*_TIMEOUT_ERR (Proc 0 Bank 4)
  Status : 0xfe00000000070f0f
  Address : 0x00000000df197238
  Misc. : 0xc00a0fff01000000
That is open to interpretation, but I read it as a bus error (motherboard) but it can be read as a CPU error.

So I did an RMA on my CPU but they tested it and said it was working fine. I then activated device verifier again and got an actual BSOD that said DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION.
