So the bootloader is GRUB. Try updating GRUB, it should add the windows OS in the boot list.

Your approach of Dual booting Linux and windows is not the proffered one, because of the situation you explained here in this thread. GRUB is not very friendly with windows. Install windows first and then install Linux (preferably using WUBI) keeps everything under control. It is often said that GRUB bootloader can corrupt an windows installation beyond repair.
