BSOD Only after install (any) NVIDIA Drivers

    Hello all,

I'm trying to deal with my BSOD during all the day without any success, the first BSOD appeared this morning, after this one I wasn't able to start up my computer so I decided to format directly.

All was fine after the format till I installed the latest Nvidia Drivers for my gpu (MSI gtx 580), after install the drivers and the recommended system restart, the BSOE appeared again all time (just after the windows loading, never reach the desktop).

I tried uninstall the the latests Nvidia drivers and I tested also with other 3-6 old official drivers but the result was the same.

The strange thing is that the system works fine without any GPU drivers but ofc my GPU is not working as it should.

Another strange thing is the motherboard image display, it have some artifacts that appeared together with the problem.

I'm totally desperate and this forum is my last option.

    Thank you all.

I am having the exact same problem, with the same card. I was pretty sure the card was dead, but it seems very odd that you are experiencing the same problem and symptoms as I am on the same day. I really hope there is a solution and that the card isn't dead.

EDIT: I tried re-seating the card. Still having the same problem. I am going to try it in a mates computer and see what happens.

    Hello,
Unfortunately I confirmed my suspicions, it was the GPU, I tested with another GPU and all it's fine, I guess It's the time to leave the gtx 580 .

Yeah, I havn't tried another card in my computer. But I tried my card in another computer and no luck. Pretty weird us having the same exact issue's and symptoms at the same time.
