    Bsod irql_not_less_or_equal

Hey gang, so my pc has been shutting down when my pc goes to sleep. Ive update all my drive ran a sfc scan and found some errors. I then use an instillation disc to repair the errors but then it said there was no error to repair. So I then preceded to test my ram, no errors came up however i did find something interest. I installed a third party driver updater and they found some out of date drivers, I proceed to update them. Once i got to my network wireless card which is very old and out of date boom the BSOD IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error appeared. I then ran safe mode rerolled back to my old network driver and everything is working like it was. So my question does this have to do with the BSOD and the files that cant be repaired from the sfc scan? or is there something else?

Thing is I did a repair install and it came up with nothing needed to fix all is well. Im thinking sound card or network driver. which both are old and obsolete.

if they are old and obsolete, the best thing you can do is get them up-to-date
