    They send me back new ram to replace the old ones and i still have memtest errors.
    Do you know what other components can caused memtest errors?

    It is either the RAM module or the DIMM slot. Nothing else.

    New ram with very long memtest


    Hello,
    They send me a new ram with a different frequency because they think the issue come from here.
    I am testing this new ram at the moment but the test seem very long i am only at pass 3 after 11 hours(with no errors).
    Do you think that so much time is normal for 16G of ram?

    Yes, it will take hours to complete testing all the 16 GBs.

    Ok,
    But with the first set of ram the test achieve 10 passes in one night and here i am only at 3 so the difference seem strange to me.

    Post #22 shows it is running the first pass yet, time spent 2 hours 11 minutes and 26 seconds.

    I was speaking of the test with the original ram at post 20 but no screenshot the one of post 22 was with the second set of ram they send me.
    Anyway if you think those duration are normal i will wait until pass 8
