BCcode : 7a

Hi,

I've been getting BSOD 7a whilst playing certain games for a while now. I've googled 7a and gone through old posts and tried my hand at finding the problem myself but I can't seem to figure it out.

Here's a list of things I've tried:
  • DiskCHk
  • Mem test 64+ for 10 hours (Although it was with both sticks of RAM in my pc)
  • Updating Drivers
  • Uninstalling rarely used applications, games and AVG
  • Defrag, SeaTools Long scan and deleting old folders from C drive
  • Dusting components and fans
  • Re-seating RAM

I've also used TechPowerUp to monitor temperatures of CPU and GFX Card but they looked fine to me. Neither went over 70-80 even when testing on demanding games.

I'll upload my last Dump so someone can take a look!

Thanks in advance,
Bulldoze

Okay so I'm reporting back after running fast and long tests with Seatools, both tests results were a pass.

What would you suggest now?

Cheers

The long test on a 1 TB HDD should take much more than 3 hours.

After a BSOD last week I ran the "Fix All - long" option and left it on through the night - pass results

Today I ran short and long generic and they passed.

I'll leave it on Fix All long again tonight I guess in case the first didn't hit the mark

As the primary indication obtained from the crash dump was a disc error, and the seatools test is passed (apparently), now let us wait for another BSOD, and see what it says.
