GETTING THE BSOD SHOWN BELOW AT START UP, COMPUTER WILL BOOT IN SAFE MODE, I HAVE DONE SEVERAL TASKS INCLUDED UPDATING DRIVERS, CHECKED DEVICES, CHECKED HARDWARE, AS A NOVICE COMPUTER GEEK I HAVE HAD TO RESEARCH EVERYTHING I DO AND FIGURE IT OUT ON MY OWN, NOT SURE CHECKING RAM STICKS WORTH WHILE ARE NOT? THIS HAS SEEMINGLY TURNED INTO A A DAUNTING TASK. PROMPTS ON THIS SITE ADVERTISING WITH ICONS FOR A FREE DOWNLOAD/PAY QUICK FIX CURE MAYBE OF THE REGISTRY OR PC CURE? UNLIKELY? Bsod update

So, again, moreover, as a novice, Thanks Rich for then quote/parable "at the end of my arm fix" I downloaded my BSOD dump file and found that the BSOD is being caused by driver: hal.dll ; caused address: hal.dll+12a3b ; Please find attached "full report" READ ME TEXT; Any insights greatly appreaciated"

Hi again, I appreciate all prior posts and will make this one fast. The BSOD for me occours primarily after i start up my computer. Itll run for a few minutes and then do its BSOD stop 124 thing and then run fine for days unless i reboot it and leave it off for any period of time. I could repost...
