Recent random BSOD with 0x0124 and hal.dll

    Hello,

I have been getting the same BSOD with 0x124 and hal.dll but it doesn't seem to be triggered by anything specific like playing video games or having multiple programs up and running. For example today I was just watching a streamer on twitch.tv and had 2 or 3 taps open and I got it. I haven't put too much thought into it because it only happens like once a month but I decided to read up on it and it looks like the 0x124 is usually a hardware problem. I figured it might be worthwhile to check what is actually going on.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Thank you for the welcome. I ran the test and after two hours or so it passed no BSOD. My cpu temp averaged out at 64C.

Re-run the test as it must be 8 or more passes. Also are you running MemTest86 or MemTest86+? It must be MemTest86+.
